We are committed to our Competitive program. Several divisions will have more than 2 teams participating in the Competitive stream.
All of our competitive coaches have Advanced Development Coach Certification, many years of experience, and work with each other to support best practices in skills development.
Expectations:
- Practice 2 times per week
- Compete in 4+ tournaments – 4 OVA regular season tournaments, and are encouraged to participate in at least 1-2 exhibition or age-up tournaments
- Compete at Ontario Championships
- Competitive teams can also choose to participate in HP modules
- Nationals are optional
We are looking for athletes to compete at the highest level and are interested in the pursuit of excellence! Some competitive athletes are looking to play post secondary. We ensure that all options are open by working closely with university and college coaches in Canada.
