What Is Niagara Rapids Club Volleyball?
The Rapids Club program (often referred to as “travel” or “rep”) provides opportunities for youth at all levels of experience to further their skill development and benefit from the experience of playing on a team. We are one of the largest youth volleyball clubs in Ontario, with 31 teams (girls and boys), 356 athletes and 65 coaches. This is important only because it gives so many athletes an opportunity to participate on a team.
We welcome experienced, athletic competitive athletes into the Rapids High Performance Program as well as beginners and those with limited playing experience. These athletes will be placed on a Rapids Competitive Team where coaches will develop skill and a love for the game.
You can expect our coaching staff to be fully engaged in both technical skill development and character development. Rapids coaches are exceptional role models and passionate advocates who will hold high standards for their athletes. The opportunities for growth and development through club sports are limitless, and the benefits extend far beyond the reach of a volleyball court. The athletes in our program are immersed in a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the acquisition of life skills that will contribute to their success and fulfillment on and off the court.
